One of the biggest challenged in writing for today’s world
is ironically social media. Even though all of the advances in technology amaze
me and being an 18 year old I am probably obsessed with it I think it has
changed the way we have decided to talk to one another. Sometimes when I'm typing a paper for English
I will find myself typing in slang as if I were sending a text…I know scary.
Should there be a certain way to write when writing on social media than there
is in print news and broadcast news? It is almost as if social media has moved
itself away form the idea of online web writing and transformed into a whole
new genre. How can journalists branch out and cover all of the genres of news
sources when there are so many?
Another issue Journalists struggle with is writing fairly.

However I beg to differ, I believe most people get their
news sources from social media! With everyone using their smart phones and having social media literally at the tips of their fingers I believe social media trumps all for news sources.
