After 2 years and 23 games the University of Southern Mississippi Football team had finally won a game. And boy was it blow-out. Being on the dance team, I have been to every game this past football season and I have seen every defeat! It was hard being a freshman and never experiencing a win, that is until this past Saturday.
It was so weird, we were getting ready to dance for half-time and I looked up at the score-board and saw UAB with 21 points and us with 14. I thought to myself well, looks like we're going to lose. Again. Nothing was new. When those Golden Eagles walked out on the field for the 3rd quarter they just completely took over, I mean it was touch down after touch down after touchdown. No one could even react, we were all dumb founded. I have to say you know its God's work when the lowest ranking team in Divison wins and the highest ranking team loses. Roll tears roll to that!
